Why Earnings Are Showing Zero – SunoDistro
Seeing zero earnings in your dashboard can be confusing, especially after your music is live on stores. This page explains the most common reasons why earnings may appear as zero and what you should do in each case.
1. Royalties Have Not Been Reported Yet
Music streaming platforms do not report earnings in real time.
How reporting works:
Stores collect streaming and download data
Royalties are calculated after a reporting cycle
Reports are sent to distributors later
Most platforms report earnings weekly or monthly, and some may take 30–90 days after your release goes live. Until the store sends the royalty report, your earnings will show as zero.
This is normal and does not mean your streams are missing.
2. Your Release Is New
If your song was released recently, earnings may not appear immediately.
Common scenarios:
The release is live, but the first royalty cycle has not closed
Streams have started, but reporting has not begun
Stores are still validating usage data
New releases often take time before generating visible earnings in the dashboard.
3. Stores Have Low or No Streams Yet
Earnings are generated only when your music is streamed or downloaded.
If:
Streams are very low
Your audience is still growing
The release has limited reach so far
Then earnings may show as zero or very small amounts until more activity occurs.
4. Earnings Are Below the Display Threshold
In some cases, extremely small earnings may not appear immediately due to:
Currency conversion rounding
Minimum reporting values from stores
These small amounts are not lost. They accumulate and will appear once the store reports a higher payable value.
5. Store-Specific Reporting Delays
Each store follows its own reporting schedule.
Important to know:
Some stores report faster than others
Social platforms and video-based platforms may report later
Reporting delays are controlled by stores, not by SunoDistro
SunoDistro displays earnings as soon as reports are received and processed.
6. Release or Track Issues
In rare cases, earnings may show zero due to:
Incorrect metadata
Duplicate or conflicting releases
Store-side delivery or matching issues
If a store is unable to correctly match your track, earnings may be delayed until the issue is resolved.
What You Should Do
Before raising a support ticket:
Check the release date
Allow sufficient time for reporting cycles
Confirm streams are occurring on stores
If earnings still show zero after a reasonable reporting period, you can raise a support ticket from your dashboard. Our team will review store reports and investigate if any issue exists.
Important Reminder
Zero earnings does not mean your royalties are lost
SunoDistro does not hold or hide earnings
All royalties are credited exactly as reported by stores
Your earnings will appear automatically once stores send the data.
